Many of these steins are reproduced.
I BELIEVE the lithopane that you describe on the bottom is from the middle of the 20th century at the oldest.
I am NOT 100% certain on this-- I would advise you to get some more feedback.

I have the exact same Stien but when you hold it up to the light it has a different scene.It's an Officer With his hand on his sword standing next to a Farm woman in an apron with the town in the distant background. There is no makers mark on the bottom.
This is a reproduction. Look at the "bump" in the inside of the handle, that's the giveaway. Also, the woman, a modern feature not desireable at that time in the military.
I have another that has no bump and the feature in the bottom is a soldier and maiden.
