This is another recent find. The brooch is marked but the earrings are not. I am still certain, that both are by the same maker. It is amazing how the pieces have been constructed!

    Thanks for looking:)

Pretty set! Not too familiar with that brand though.

So very beautiful as singles or as a set! They look like Miriam Haskell jewelry to me. Very stylish!
I have the book "inside the jewelry box, vol 2. A collectors guide to Costume jewelry" by Ann Mitchell Pitman. On page 149 there are some blue glass beaded earrings signed De Mario N. Y" Estimated value $65-85. Unfortunately there is no more info about the company.

Well well well :) If this link is correct there is a very natural explanation to why I thought this looked like Haskell jewelry, LOL :)

Freihet, see my two answers above, did you know this about your jewelry and that they are that rare and quite valuable? And you have both brooch and earrings! Great find!

freiheit - It's just a beautiful set. Agree with Broochman about the verdigris. If it's left it will grow and finally degrade the earrings.

Elisabethan - Indeed well, well, well! Wish they'd dated the article - the actual website is dated but not so for the article.

The article says De Mario retired and closed the shop 1965. So if that is right your jewelry must be made before that wich narrows it down a bit. I am sure there is an answer out there somewhere :)

If the article is right that after he worked with Haskell he opened his shop in 1945 it could be your jewelry is from the 40's. The style looks like it. Here is a piece that is similar to yours and supports the idea about yours being from the 40's: https://pin.it/j42cz2yjea6nhg
