This is for a rocking. Chair which I believe is called a platform rocker. Not sure of the year. 40s, 50s?

Check out “spring rockers”. There are online sites that sell replacement springs for an old rockers. I recently restored and updated an old rocker. I don’t recall seeing the spring configuration that you have, but I was only looking at the particular style my rocker has.
