I bought this a few months ago to add to my collection of Tango Glass tableware. It has a yellow layer with a clear outer casing and a cobalt handle. However I wasn't totally convinced it actually was from the Art Deco period, let alone that it was Czech. My doubts being down mainly to its large size and lack of signs of wear. However it fitted in well with other pieces and I'd come to terms with my reservations. Then this month I've found Czech jugs of a similar size that persuade me that this jug could well be of the period......
Image four is a print I've had a while. It reminds me of France, though of course I was very taken with the jug too!
Height 16 cm./6.25 inches
I adore tango glass, it is timeless and always attractive.
Indeed and a display can have a glorious clash of colours and still have cohesion.
