Not sure what they call a neckerchief like this but it has that design that goes around the lower portion of the neckerchief when it is unfolded. as seen on the back view. On seeing the back view I think I see why the pattern doesn't match up on the front sideas one side has the arrow going up and the other the arrow goes down. With some designs the left and right side match like a mirror image in the front but these not so much. This design is the most common and so far I have five in different colors. Currently the red with black trim is the only one in the BSA catalog in this pattern.
The first uniform is 1960s and the second is 1980s with the 19670s beret. The beret is still allowed although not a current part of the official uniform.
