This vase is 10" high x 6" wide and is a fairly thick chunk of glass. It shows no wear at all. It is extremely high quality glass. It is pretty bland as Bohemian glass goes, but is different than anything else I could find with this label so I picked it up as a research opportunity. Contemporary Bohemian art glass is not something that I have spent a lot of time on. I have read that the label on this vase is a generic export label under which the works of several Czech glass makers were exported. I also read that this label was used from the 1950s to the 1970s but I have trouble believing that this vase is that old. I wonder if, at some point in time, this label was used again to imitate glass made during this earlier period? I don't intend to start collecting Bohemian art glass, though I might add a few representative pieces to my collection. Yes, I have too much free time on my hands!

Consensus from several sources is that this was possibly made by Chribska. One source thinks it is by Egermann. I found several Egermann pieces in this color of blue glass, with the clear rim and twisted foot, but not this exact vase. I am currently leaning toward Egermann, myself, as I can't find any Chribska that similar.

Might well be Chribska.
@inky - Thanks for your comment, inky! It is a pretty great blue..
@vetraio50 - Thanks! Maybe... I've looked at a lot of Chribska and other Czech glass and can't find anything that is similar, yet. I am at the mercy of them as knows more than I do. That is a large group!
Thanks for loving my Bohemia Glass vase!

Thank you Broochman!
Thank you Karen!
Egermann? A collaborator has suggested that this vase might actually be by Egermann. I looked on ebay and found several labeled examples of their work which is very similar to Chribska. Great!

I also found a few with the clear lip present on my vase..
I sent an email and images to Egermann. There is a vase in their products on their web site which resembles this vase....
Thanks iggy!
