Ive had this bag for 30+ years. I can tell you its 100% authentic because I bought it from the FENDI store in Milan, Italy. No they did not put serial numbers in their bags back then because they didn't have the problem with counterfeiting that we have nowadays. So if you run across an old FENDI, just check the workmanship and it should be plain to even the untrained eye that these old bags (pardon the pun) were made to last!
