Picked up this Abel & Bach Company trunk. Out of all the trunks I’ve had this is the only one I can’t find any information on as in how common these are, values, when this would have been made or a history of the company. As well with the lock that is on it, I have had trouble finding out when it was made, only thing I found on the lock was a history of the company.
Pages 305 & 306 luggage and leather goods 1913 mentions the closing of one of the Chicago stores.

There is plenty of advertising for this company to there as well.
Just search for: Abel & Bach Advertising images a fair amount pops up. hope this helps.
