This cupped bowl in the stretch glass color of Egyptian Lustre was produced by the Diamond Glass Co. of Indiana, Pa between 1921-24. While our tastes do gravitate mainly to other areas, we do appreciate some of the older, harder to find pressed items produced by American companies prior to WWII. Although this color is not a rare one, it is among those colors that are harder to find. We enjoy the great iridescence it shows against the black (likely amethyst) base glass.
