Hello I have this vintage jug and am wondering if anyone might have a idea of how old it is or who made it, I found it around 6/7 years ago

This one is made by Eckhardt & Engler K.G.

Thanks mp I was hoping you would have a good idea of who made this, you must be a expert, but more importantly your very kind to help people out, as it’s a rare thing to find someone who offers help without reward, thanks again

Thank you for your kind words.
Just a simple thank you is what I do it for. Unfortunately, not everyone is as polite as you are.
By the way, your jug was made before 1949 because it is stamped Germany instead of West Germany.

Thanks mp I thought it was early as not been able to find another like it anywhere and it’s one of my favourite finds, an amazing bit of work
