I'm just wondering what I have here?

It's in an area where I would need to remove a fire suppression sprinkler system line, to remove it from the space where it currently is.

I do know it's a pre-1950 Pepsi double dot 7' cooler. But, I can't really find any other info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John

Somebody else here can probably help give more specific detail (I can't, sorry) but I would think that the particular font of the PEPSI logos will be a key to narrowing down a more accurate date for it. The cooler itself likely has its own nameplate somewhere on the back that'd give at least the info required to help a refrigeration technician get it running again (if in fact it isn't still in operational condition?) and might shed further light on an accurate date/serial#/etc too.

And just for fun, IMHO, ifn's I actually had someplace I could put such a large and likely heavy thing...I'd be thinking about how much effort/cost it'd take to move that sprinkler pipe to rescue it... <LOLOL> :-) :-) :-)

Late 40's early 50's. Here is one on ebay for comparison.
