Shelby Williams made the Gazelle/Impala cast aluminum , but graceful chair design popular in the late 70’s -80’s. Seems like other manufacturers copied the design, Don Johnson, Crucible Products and Lion Brand. They maintained the “animal” like leg form. The one I found shows the same sturdy comfortable armature, but differs in the casting design. It shows an I-Beam like design in the aluminum casting, covered by baked enamel paint. The leatherette (super strong) vinyl upholstery is still intact....incredible. I couldn’t find anything comparable anywhere. The chair design is very comfortable, stable and sturdy. Posting here hoping to find info on the possible maker.
Before reading the comment I was going to say it looks like a Shelby chair, they were making chairs like this for industry back in the 40's. Hard to say for sure but it doesn't look like something from the 70-80s to me.
