I just love the fun and colors of vintage Easter toys and decorations. Here some pix of part of my collection when I had it on display at my local public library. I have probably 3 times as many items now - but they are all boxed up. Someday I will get them all out and play with them. For now I must content myself with these pix.
I remember seeing these types of toys in the big fancy Easter baskets on store shelves when I was a kid. I probably even had some when I was very young. But, as the saying goes, "youth is wasted on the young" -- I am glad to have them to play with NOW, when I know to take care of them.

I listed this under Christmas -- Collectors Weekly needs to add some more categories, like TOYS and HOLIDAYS -- also how about "COLLECTIONS" or GROUP DISPLAYS. --Marianne Dow
Really great collection:)) I have been trying to find vintage Easter, but I can't find anything but the current cheap stuff from Dollar Tree. I started collecting vintage Christmas last year and made some pretty good finds. There is so much I want to post on this site, lol. It will take me a while, but eventually I will get more pics up.
What beautiful German paper mache candy containers! And so many other charming pieces. Wow!
Holly molly...love these!
That is quite the Easter display.
