Hello all in the collectors weekly world!
I have come into possession of a genuine zippo lighter with the Krispy Kreme logo on it.
This lighter is brand new never been lit.
I cannot find any information on the web about this item. (when was it made, was it for employees, or just a marketing tool)
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Look on the bottom there should markings for the date. The older ones had roman numerals and the the new ones have letter number codes. Let me know and i will tell you the date.

Yes I have figured out it is a 1975 zippo - but I wondered how rare it was. If this was something anyone could buy or if zippo made it for Krispy Kreme...Thanks for the help :)

Thanks to (most) posters for the help with this item.
I was hoping there was a unique story to share with my grandmother, but I'm sure simply presenting my "gramps" lighter to her in a nice shadow box will be just as good. If anyone can think of another neat way to showcase this please let me know.
