I bought this dresser to repaint from a house built in 1956. The couple died and the kids left the house to sit till now. Does anybody know about how old it is? The back of it, the knobs, nails, sqaure nuts, and heaviness of it seem old. It also has nail holes in back near the top like it may have had a mirror at one point maybe. I have searched the back, the bottom, and the sides and back of all the drawers already. Only mark I see looks to be 5'6 on the back in pink crayon not sure if that means anything

Sideways pictures don't say much. Don't blame this site because it tells in the FAQ's why you are having problems and how to correct it.

Open or remove a drawer and show us the joinery, are there dust panels under the drawers? Give us something to work with. It is obviously vintage just by looking at the odd drawer in the front. Give us something to work with. While you are at it, look under the drawers and on the sides and back for makers marks or tags etc.
