I cant figure out what I have here. They seem to be coin but all 3 are marked different. Investigating on line I have found nothing about them. They came from a friends estate so I really have no way of finding out where they came from. Someone told me they look like mid 1800s coin silver. I have researched coin silver spoons and still can not find any direction.i do plan to sell them, but would like to know what I have before making a decision. Thank you all.
Coin silver does not mean it was made from a coin. It is a lower grade than sterling as sterling is .925 and coin silver is .900 silver. As an example today coin is worth $12.30 an oz and sterling is $12.64 and silver bullion is at $16.55.
A coin silver spoon would probably weigh a few grams as they tend to be very thin.
