Came across this set at the Estate of a retired Air Force Col. Lots of Apollo 11 Collectibles and several Mah Jong Sets. This one hear appears to be the Oldest and Most Interesting. Butterscotch in Color and the Tiles are just Beautiful. Looking at them when held up to the Light shows differently. Picture 3. any help on dating these would be greatly appreciated. There are about 144 titles and 4-blank ones. Thanks in Advance.

These look very similar to a 1924 Mahjong set I came across at an estate sale. My mother purchased the set for me, came with Wright-Patterson rule booklets. It was highly sought after. I’m told some take these tiles and turn them into jewelry too. I believe the pieces are Bakelite.
