Ancient Balochistan Bowl?

I picked this bowl up recently and am wondering if it might be an early Balochistan (Pakistan) bowl probably placed in a grave as was the custom of the peoples of the area. It makes me wonder if it is specifically Mehrgarh or Nal? As time went on, the pottery put out focused more on animals and pipal leafs and less on geometric designs like the triangles and cross-hatching as the main focus. So, as seen in the link below, I wonder if this is a 4th or 3rd millennium B.C.E. piece?
It is wheel-made and has a ring foot. The sand is not uniform and falls off very easily which suggests to me that it's not adhered by some means of adhesive- which would be a indication of a fake.
There is one small area that especially makes me think it is genuine, not modern. It is a place where some wet terracotta got smudged onto a painted portion and preserved the darker color of the background while the rest slowly faded. Over time, this bit of smudged terracotta fell off, revealing the better-preserved coloring. This also suggests to me that it was not repainted like many available online are.
