This vase is about 12.5" high x 3" at the base. I had no idea that I had this vase, but have had it for maybe 20 years! It sits on top of my fridge with some peacock feathers in it. I must have put it up there years ago to keep it from the cats as the feathers are a bit "cat chewed". I had to move something and this had to come out of the way to do so.
People's Outfitting Co. was a large department store in Detroit, Michigan. It is long defunct. The bottom of the vase reads "Compliments People's Outfitting Co.". This is a pretty fancy little vase. Can anyone can tell me who made this vase? I know that is probably challenging with the bad images..... It has to be post 1893 as that is when People's was founded.

the vase is attributed to National Glass Company as part of their pattern line #550 (AKA: Winsome) c1903. Some may want to attributed this pattern to Riverside Glass Works as the glass was produced at their factory, since they had joined the National combine in 1899.
