Brian Blood is a well known California plein air painter. He identifies himself as a California Impressionist. He has a website, https://brianblood.com/, which contains his biography and available works. He is my favorite California artist. There are several YouTube videos that include his works.
These paintings are from my collection of his work, arranged chronologically by date of creation.
"The Locks of Bath", Brian Blood, 14" x 11", Oil on wood panel , 2005. This painting was featured on a full page in an article about Blood and wife, artist Laurie Kersey in American Artist Magazine in January 2005.
"Rocks & Surf, Pebble Beach", Brian Blood, 11" x 14", oil on wood panel, 2007. This painting was exhibited at the 2007 Plein Air invitational at The Lodge Torrey Pines. This invitational was limited to 25 nationally recognized artists.
"Chateau Jullian", Brian Blood, 11" x 14", oil on wood panel, 2011.
"Along the Rec Trail - Pacific Grove", Brian Blood, 11" x 14", oil on wood panel, 2013.
He is a talent indeed Kevin, and it must be a pleasure to relax and look at these.
