I just got back from NH/VT where i had fun antiquing with my sister. This is one of my favorite finds - a large mochaware cache pot. at least that's what i think it is. it's about 5 inches across and 4 inches tall. I think it's from sometime between 1790 and 1820, if i'm remembering right from my days doing archaeology at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, NH. English or American?
Could be English.

It is sometimes called yellowware, sandware or gravelware
thanks mp.kunst. it could be English or American. they were made exactly the same in both countries.
