This is a 'tongue in cheek' post.

Relaying to CW membership the various examples of glass I have owned or been given permission to use by many CW members and glass collectors.

If you follow the CW copyright rules, you are operating with a hand tied behind your back, much harder to prove a point with a more limited pool of image choices. That means you know who took the picture and have a direct communication with them in writing by email with a permission. Means not the result of a many thousand image archive that has been created by simply copying and sending them or using them yourself. If it is for your own website or to create links, that is a different matter.

Identification by ignoring the simplest background facts such as date of production, is like using a bulldozer and cramming it with all the glass that looks alike. Empirical research takes all factors into account. For instance why is it that important Bohemian glass museums like the Passau and the Novy Bor, do not share any of the same glass pieces attributed to this one producer? Ever noticed?

My images use one Kralik shape, post WWI, which has been used in multiple Kralik decors of that period, here we have the added benefit of a combination of my Pepita color vase with a Kralik martele texture, a Kralik spatter with added clear surface veins, and my semi vaseline and base spatter with Kralik added surface veins. Latest addition, a kralik vase also with semi translucent ridged surface texture and colorful spatter application on the base, not marked.

More of this with new ideas in my next post, about Bohemian glass textures and fabrications.
