This vase, when purchased, we thought might be Bronze décor by Thomas Webb. After getting it in hand we came to think it might be of Bohemian origins and with the help of several in the Bohemian glass FB group we settled on an attribution based on form and finish of production by Ferdinand von Poschinger (Büchenau). The décor was called Violett Glatt. The ground is amethyst and it would have been produced ca. 1890.
