I bought this Trifari brooch awhile ago. From the 1960s, it has baguette and chaton rhinestones. The metal has a rhodium finish. The last photo is the Graff fine jewelry advertisement from this weekend's Wall Street Journal magazine. I was struck at how the Trifari brooch was so similar in design. My Trifari brooch is on the shoulder in the photo.
Absolutely beautiful Trifari brooch & Graff Jewelry agrees :)
Jenni, Thanks for love and smile comment.
Eileen,
I don't think Trifari actually ever sold their designs. The most recent corporate ownership was by Kate Sapde. Monet and Trifari are part of the Adelington Design Group a division of Kate Spade. Even recently, Trifari was mining their older designs and reissuing them. Before that Trifari was owned by Liz Claiborne.
Love your comments and thanks for the love. Great observations!

Hi DejaVu2! Thank you for posting the ad and the love! I see this brooch is from the Pirouette series. I also have the Stardust bracelet. So fun to see the ads. This add says it is from 1954(looking at the title in the link), but that doesn't see quite right as the brooch is signed withe the copy right C. I didn't think that mark was initiated until 1957 when the court case was settled. My 'Stardust' bracelet also has the copyright C.
Also thanks to Phoebe1980
Daisy1000 the love!
Oh, you're so welcome. It's a beautiful pin. I think Trifari jewelry is so mysterious when it comes to dating. I have a pin that dates to 1947 that shows a copyright mark.
