Hey Jenni, you are inspiring a trend here on CW. Making stories out of several pieces in one post, I was thinking about you yesterday when I did my spooner thing. Keep up the good work. Best for the weekend, Lisa
Awh these are so sweet- I can just imagine them in a paddock somewhere! They tend to be rather overlooked animals as a whole I think? You never see them portrayed in art or crafts really and if they are it's a rarity. My aunt would adore these- she really loves these little creatures and sponsors a charity here that protects old and retired and abandoned donkeys! :)
Thanks to all for the kind love

Thank you so much Ken for the wonderful compliments and for enjoying both of these hardworking animals, I think they are underrated & glad I could find a couple good examples of them
Many thanks for the marvelous compliments and great stories about donkeys, it definitely did cross my mind about Mary & Joseph riding into Bethlehem carrying unborn Jesus and the Christmas significance of it around this time - the brooch donkey esp has that head down 'beast of burden' appearance. Great observ my friend
A big thank you to you Lisa for the wonderful comment I am humbly grateful that I helped to inspire your spooner post which was lovely. It is sometimes easy but often hard to put compatible pieces together, I like when they look good together but that doesn't always happen
Lauren you are so right, donkeys are truly underappreciated, except perhaps in rural areas where they must climb or carry heavy items. Your aunt sounds like a fine person & true animal lover to protect and rescue donkeys, that's a beautiful thing. I am truly grateful for your always kind praise and great info, thank you so much
Such sweet little donkeys!
Many thanks for the love
