Although pretty flowers are not exactly on my mind in the middle of the winter, I would like to share this vase with you. I posted the smaller blue vase earlier, but the pinkish one is a new acquisition. I don't like pink but I still fell in love with this vase. It has a wonderful satin finish, just like the blue one, and the colour changes from a pale pink on the top to almost white at the bottom.
The vase is in excellent condition but, unfortunately, unmarked. I suspect that my vase could be French, based on similar examples, but I have been wrong before.
This beauty stands 14 inches tall.
Thanks for looking:)
No help am I ! ...... but think they are Fabulous !.!.!
Vetraio50, no help - no problem:) I am glad you like them!
Merry Christmas!
Beautiful pair!As far as I am able to appraise, the enameling is of high quality.I can see why you fell in love with them!
Thanks so much for your comment, Ivonne:)
Looks like Mt Washington maker --the soft satin finish on the glass --really smooth to touch
Thanks for your comment, SuperVintageDelights. I can see some similarities with Mt. Washington satin glass vases but I think that my vases are a bit more translucent. Having said that, I will check out some vases by this maker.

These are beyond beautiful! And the 'pink' to me looks more on the lavender side! So elegant!
Shareurpassion, thanks so much for your kind comment. I guess the colours look a bit different, depending on the light:)
By the way, I bought this vase within a minute of arriving at an antique market. My husband needed to go to the bathroom and left me standing there in front of the building. One of the vendors out there wanted to go home for lunch and was packing up some of her wares. She didn't trust her husband, who was staying behind minding the table while she was gone, with her better items. The vase had a sticker of $14 on it but she said I could have it for $10 (about $7.50 US) so she didn't have to pack it up. I could not resist. Needless to say that my husband didn't like the fact that I bought a big piece but he liked the vase, too. So, all is well:)
Thanks a lot, Ivonne, IronLace, fortapache, and kwqd :)
