Indiana Glass Company oil lamp

Here is an Indiana Glass Company oil lamp. It was meant to sit on top of a vase, hopefully I am sure, a vase made by Indiana Glass. I had never seen one of these before. Note the copyright date is 2002, the year in which Indiana Glass Company closed its doors on it main facility. I don't know the history behind this lamp but guessing it was a late effort by IG to explore new market niches. Maybe good that it came late as this looks like a real fire hazard to me! I have several appropriately sized IG vases, but I think that I will leave this lamp in its package.
