etching of Venice, Italy by unknown artist. Similar to Whistler etchings. Could be a Whistler for all I know. Need help to identify. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is going to be hard to identify without some sort of inscription. Since it does not have an inscription, if it is an etching, then it is likely an open edition, meaning many were printed. The next step would be to take it out of the frame to see if there is anything under the mat. You could also just use Google images to search for "Venice etching" and see if you can find a similar one.
