    Found this in the trash I repaired some stuff and refinished and upholstered the seat. Any idea of where it's from or how old? From the Detroit area.

      Thank you! Wish I knew what kind of chair and just how old. I'm thinking it might be from the 1900 to 1930s the seat had been recovered 5 times and the old upholstery was never removed the padding was cotton. It also has big flat head or slotted screws in the arms.

      It's totally stunning, & my very random guess is 1920s - 30s era... it actually looks like several different styles rolled into one. Super glamorous, & you did a great job of restoring it!
