I think it looks good. Seems to have the right needle though I do wish there were more available. Any ideas on where I can find this manual would be nice. 306m made in Italy runs very quit and smooth. I cleaned it up and used that Zymol polish that some people use on featherweights. Had to get spool pins, bobbin tire, and was lucky enough to find a 306 thread tensioner from Canada. Also put an LED in it because I like light. Has anyone seen this machine before without even a hole for where the cams go on the other 306’s? All told, I’m about $40 into this machine. Now I’m gonna see how it sews.

Thank you keramikos. I will pick up a manual somehow with that help. I was able to wind the bobbin and sew with the machine. It is pretty straightforward. I might just have to keep this one.

      Thank you

      Hi Cmptrssck77
I have a Singer Automatic 306 swing-needle machine that belonged to my mother. I don't know if she brought it with her when she came to Australia - if she did then it may have been made in Italy. It's folded up in it's cabinet and I haven't looked at in ages so I can't tell, but I have two instructions manuals - one in Italian and one in English.
Are you still looking for one? I can make a copy but I also downloaded one from manuals.lib on the internet.

Actually I only got the service manual from manuals.lib.
The actual instructions manual is downloadable from here:
