This ashtray is 5.5" outer diameter x 4" inner diameter x 3" high. I primarily bought it because it is very similar to a labeled Bohemian Glass amethyst ashtray that I recently posted, and because I have not seen a lot of Czech glass in this bright green color. There are some significant design differences between the two ashtrasy, but the character of the two pieces is close. That being said, the bottom finish looks more Japanese than Bohemian. The base is concave and the bottom was ground flat around the perimeter of the base. I have good Narumi and Iwatsu pieces with this bottom finish. Opinions welcome!

I redid the images of this ashtray, especially the base. The base is concave and was then ground flat around the edges so it would sit flat. I have not seen a lot of Bohemian glass with this treatment. Actually, none of my marked Bohemian glass is like this. Some of my Japanese pieces have this exact treatment, though. I welcome opinions on the nationality of this ashtray.
