My wife was given this by her dad and it broke during Christmas. She is heart broken. Any help to identify so I can replace it would be amazing.

Hi NmMike, Would you please tell us more about the item. Pottery/Glass/Size/Ornament? Anything that could help ID it?

It’s about 4-5 inches. Ceramic. But with an almost wooden feel. There’s other birds that look the same just have different colors.

Wouldn't repairing it be more appropriate than replacing it? I would think that a replacement wouldn't have the same feelings tied to it.... The repair would become part of the story of the piece.. I've repaired numerous broken things with a little glue, if they were something I wanted to keep.

U in a heap o trouble if you broke it. Might be easier to just skip the country ! LOL!
All depends if the fits & glue and the skill of who does it. I would just leave the country for at least a year.
