Cuckoo Clock

First of all I know nothing about cuckoo clocks :) I recently was given this clock from my Mother. My Father was stationed in France from 1960 - 1964 and they bought this clock in Germany while traveling. On the back there's a sticker that says Vogelhandler 1022 and there's the number 66 written on the inside where the back panel comes off. I'm wondering if anyone can possibly give me any information about the clock such as age, etc...Also, on the back panel "Germany" is stamped into the wood.
