hello everyone! This is my mother's doll, one of two that she had in the mid 30's. She passed away when I was only 12, I am 53 now. I have often wondered where this doll came from and anything else about her. If anyone knows I would really appreciate the info. She has a cloth body, and is about 18 inches long, oh yes and "googly" eyes! This will go to my daughters someday and I would love for them to know more than I do! Thank you so much! Teresa
Hello ,i was just wondering if you ever found any information out about your cute doll.I have been looking for this type of doll to buy for some time .The only information i have found is that she may be a kewpie,does she have a makers mark on the back of her neck?Ive seen pictures of the necks on these dolls,but have never been able to figure out what it said.if you still have the doll ,and she has a makers mark please,please could you let me know what it said,i would love to own one of these dolls,and i would hope it would make my search for one a little bit easier if i knew the maker.Thank you so much,amanda x
