Just got this lamp and am looking to see if anyone might know the maker. I was told that it was made in Italy, perhaps in the 60’s. There are no marks that I could find and the base is made of wood. It is quite large - it measures 39 inches to the top of the shade.
The first photograph is the only one I could look at. From that, I really like your lamp. The black shade sends all the light down on that beautiful blue. You said the base is wood, what is the rest of it made of? (Looks like you have some teak furniture - very nice indeed.)
