While out doing my usual Saturday shopping, I stopped by the North Dallas Antique Mall and stumbled on a bargain, a whole service for ten (probably twelve originally) of Myott and Sons Co. tableware consisting of:
2 large covered serving dishes
smaller covered dish
oval veggie dish
oval platter
creamer and covered sugar
gravy boat
10 dinner plates
12 dessert plates
10 butter plates
12 soup bowls
12 small Fruit bowls
10 teacups
12 saucers
The most consistent stamp marks on the pieces made by Myott, Son & Company are a gold crown and the company name. Pieces pieces from the Art Nouveau period are marked "ENGLAND." these dishes are just stamped "England" which the mark suggests it was made between 1901 and 1921. The pattern name is "The Delamere" and the pattern number are "1731".
A factory fire in 1949 destroyed all the pattern numbers and drawing of their dinnerware.
