Finished building the Renwal 1960 VISIBLE V-8 model I shared recently. Everything went pretty smoothly except for two of the sparkplug lights being weak, one eventually failed. I was surprised that the majority work after nearly 60 years. I've ordered some bulbs that will replace the originals. There's a link to some videos in the comment section.
Thanks,
Bill

Looks great, especially after 60 years..
whats it pushing .. around 7 - 800 hp smiling ... very cool ..
Thanks Digital5, I wish I looked as great after 66 years!
Thanks Thomas, some sites online about the Visible V-8 said they were used in teaching applications. It has a nice informative booklet that comes with it. Renwal made the "Visible" kits(Visible Man, etc.)with education in mind, not just a model.
Thank you Nicefice, it was fun to build one again, 50 years later!
Findings, you have to have the HTF Nitrous and Supercharger option kit to get near 700 HP! Just kidding, but on You Tube there's this guy that took one of the newer Revell kits(non motorized) and chucked the crankshaft up to a drill. He got it to turn 7 grand, believe it or not, but not for long! I'll try to find the link on Youtube.
