I have this small wooden candlestick with a mouse with leather tail and ears. Can anyone tell me anything about this. How old it might be or maker?

The little mouse looks like one from the 1960s-70s that we used in craft projects. I have 2 or 3 of them around here somewhere myself.
They are so cute with those beady eyes and leather ears and tails!
The candle holder has the look of a craft project from the 60-70s also.
I was a member of some mail-order “club” that sent members a random project each month.
It brought a bit of excitement each month to open the box to see what the project was. I still have 2 of my finished projects: a gum ball dispenser and a wall plaque!

That one looks like it is made of oak...I have one quite similar which was handmade (of walnut instead) by one of my Grampas who had a basement woodshop with a lathe in it. (ca. 1970's) Mine doesn't have the mouse however...that's a cute touch...
      :-) :-) :-)
