Found these in a photo album of Tin Type photo's. The Year Written on the Front of the Brown color one is 1862. I can't make out the writting?? Any Ideas?????

The third photo appears to say "I love a rose but I love a maden with Rosey Cheeks still more d---."

Thinking the misspelling might mean this was the work of a teenager. ;)

Under the first flowers it appears to say
"Drawn by B J Witmer
Miss Rosene Oftendinger"
