Here's a J.M.W. Turner print from a 1919 International Studio magazine. The frame is one of a pair i picked up at a yard sale - not old, but beautifully made and sold at the Z Galerie in Berkeley. Very heavy frames.

i think it's a painting from the L'isle de Feydeau, Bretagne, France, i think. i really like it in this frame, but each to his own.
