Thank you for the fast response and all of the links to check out.How did you get all of that info so fast ?That was so amazing.I just like old machines they each have there own story , and I can not help but to bring them back to life.I found some other machines that look a lot alike.Faultless fond on etsy-- our special found on Ebay Thank you again for all your time Jim
Yes I will check with janome and let you know what I find out.
This is a sight that I found ( Home of the sewalot site by Alex I Asharoff ) scroll down to you find New Goodrich No1 .This is my machine /except the name on my machine is Fronomy and the seal is a large star with 6 small stars around it. I have not had time to contact Janome about the mod. number yet.Can I check New Goodrich for the Mod. number some way? also I don't see The spelling that you see as Economy although it does make sense.Thank you again Jim
Good Evening
Yes the old English sure is a match when you see Economy that way.
The history of Goodrich sure is a story in it self .Nice to read all of the twist and turns back in the day. My yard sale find has turned in to a treasure hunt so fun for me.and thank you for all of your help. The machines keep talking and when I get it running again Iam sure she will sing.
