This 2" fanciful mouse design has a faux pearl head, clear rhinestone body & green necklace, complete with golden whiskers and a little pendant or purse dangle, on goldtone. By Kenneth Jay Lane ca 1990s. Beside an emerald green glass mouse (which looks rather like a rat!) from Kanawha Glass of WV ca 1970s

I agree with you and Ken on the glass rat. I even think he mouse is a rat really; lovely long tail and big head.

Awh- how very adorable and very appropriate giving that its the year of the rat! I love his pose- I can see him sneaking about some shed or barn and then hearing a sound is instantly wary and fearful. He's a very pretty little mouse too :P

Thank you so much Karen for your fab comment & insight, the glass fellow surely does look more like a rat esp without those wingy ears, but then, it DID give me an animal for the Year of the Rat lol! I have seen beady eyed brown rats from a distance & have nothing against them, except as you say stay out of my house!
