Here is a teapot, creamer, and sugar (or slop?) bowl from a set I bought yesterday from a charity store. There is also a pair of serving plates with handles in the set, but I forgot to photograph them. ^_^;;
I think it might be really old!
The teapot is very discoloured around the spout. It must have been loved and enjoyed by its previous owner. I will eventually try bleaching it, along with some of the discoloured saucers.
I suspect the lid is not original. It has a raised pattern (I can see at least two flower shapes) that the rest of the set does not have, and the finial is quite crude. It fits the teapot well enough, but it's not a firm fit. I wonder if it was re-glazed to match a broken lid, and what exciting design lies underneath?
The saucers from the set have the pattern number 1189 or A1189 on the underside. There are no maker's marks.
