    Here is a beautiful impasto painting (42”x36”). I thought it resembled a Van Gogh painting and the colors are stunning. I can’t find anything on the artist but I believe it’s contemporary. The signature seems to read “Evelyn” but it’s hard to make out. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks for looking.

      You lucky. It is a copy of a Vincent van Gogh painting with the title L’escalier d’Auvers

      Thank you MP. That makes sense. I knew it had something to do with Van Gogh, but I’ve never seen that particular painting. You can really see the difference. Van Gogh wins again. Ha.
