Recovered recently from a soon-to-be trashpile where, at best, it'd have likely ended up in the back of a late nite "scrapper's" beat up truck on its way to oblivion. <nonono!>
It is a smallish (I think?) cast iron kettle with a bail and 3 small legs on its rounded bottom. It measures about 8" tall and 10" across and its only marking is the number 8 cast into its bottom.
Other than that I know absolutely nothing about it...mebbe it'll look fun if I find someplace to hang it outside with a pretty plant in it, once springtime comes around here again...?? :-) :-) :-)
-----------------EDIT, a week after original showing------------------
HAPPY HAPPY -- today while visiting a local Goodwill, I found a cast iron *lid* that fits this pot rather perfectly!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

THANK YOUS to Vynil33rpm, Watchsearcher, kwqd, vetraio50, fortapache, Newfld, Nicefice, Brunswick, bobby725, & officialfuel for your <love it>s!! More THANKS to Nicefice and bobby725 for your comments -- I should indeed probably do that to it Nicefice, before ultimately finding it somewhere to live around here, someplace where it'll be properly protected from the weather/etc. ;-) :-) :-)
