Yesterday I posted a small Victorian glass vase with a swirling ribbed pattern & an applied crest. At the time, I mentioned that I had two other vases with a similar design, so I thought I'd show them as a group.
The vase at the back is a favourite, found back in 1997. It is made from two layers of cased glass, salmon pink over opaline white, with a green crest. The vase on the left is made from a pale amber over opaline white, & a pale blue crest.
All have rough, snapped pontil marks.
Possibly all from the same maker, whoever that might be...

A fine group, IronLace, and one day the key to the mystery maker may just fall into your hands. I'm sure you've known it happen, as I have!

Many thanks, Peggy - & hopefully I will find out more about these attractive vases - maybe I'll even find a few more in the process, because I like them a lot!
After seeing other folks posting group shots of items on CW, I thought I'd have a go, as it does seem an effective way of finding out more information on unknown glass.

Just so pretty. The Victorian's had pretty in their DNA I think.

Thanks so much, Karen - & yes, I totally agree!
