A beautiful 19th century Chinese export ware vase in a pattern of random birds, butterflies, flowers etc, also baluster form but with gilt Fu dog neck details as well as salamanders. Sadly it too has damage to the rim but I still love it.
    Another unmarked piece .
    Just added a clearer photo

I have so much to learn!

the base shows a standard 19th c base, but i have to agree that it is pretty sloppy and even the shape is rather clunky/dumpy. i assume you are looking for honest feedback. i don't mean to offend.

Indeed, honest feedback is exactly what I'm looking for!
As with other areas of my collecting/purchasing, it is through the not so wise purchases one learns the difference between them and those the REAL quality pieces.
That's what I am ready to do with regards to Asian Pottery... Without the honest opinions of learned gentlemen like yourselves, I would stumble from one bad purchase to another.
      Namaste gent's.
