Love this set, which reminds me of a lady of the 1940's wearing a fur wrap or cape. Sometimes I am not too fond of much metal showing on jewellery, but this really works well !~
This is really lovely- I think the deep green colour of the stones are gorgeous and because it's in a ring it reminds me of a festive wreath you see on doorways?
Nice to have the set and it looks to be in great condition!

Thanks so much Phil for the lovely compliment, the ladies of the 40s era wore jewelry with such flair, I always admired their style in clothing as well (such rich lined fabrics). You are right too much metal can ruin a piece, but Napier was fond of these filigree foliates and I have another green set where they also used them
Many thanks Ken for the wonderful and creative compliments, very imaginative seeing an apple here and you know I love new takes on something - I can definitely see an apple shape here & then you have the top stem and leaves, good call! It was called a wreath when I purchased it but the Napier designer could certainly have been thinking of an apple as well

Yes I am in total agreement that this has a festive holiday wreath color and look, I was actually planning to post this around Christmas when someone else posted a wreath brooch so I waited, I try never to interfere with another person's idea except when I don't have pix of something else ready
Thank you MrsT for the warm praise and yes, I always love to find a full matching set but it's often hard with vintage to do that. What I love about this green foliage line from Napier is they highlight these 60s designs in their big Napier history "bible" which weighs about a thousand lbs (!) and is one of my fave jewelry books
