This is by Allen Saalburg called School Room, I think it was done around the 1940's. Printed by Canal Press, Frenchtown NJ. This is pencil signed by Saalburg in the lower right corner but not showing in photo.
It is a very interesting silkscreen print done in a combo of Fraktur and Trompe l'oeil style done in Saalburg's silkscreen process. Saalburg worked at the Mercer Museum in Bucks County and painted objects from the collection and from those he created his prints.
It is printed on heavy stock paper that is backed by cardboard and affixed to the matte. Frame is 21x27 and image is 15x20 3/4.
I found this about a year ago in a newer thrift store. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.
