This vase is 6.5" high x 5.5" in diameter and relatively heavy for its size. It has an unpolished flat ground bottom with several inscriptions. Thanks to SEAN68 for identifying the bottom word as "Malta" which lead me to Phoenician Glass, as Maltese art glass maker. Here is a bit of information about this maker:

    https://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/maltese_glass/phoenician_glass.htm

"Phoenician Glass was founded in Malta in 1989 by Leonard Sullivan, an ex-worker from the well known Maltese glass factory Mdina Glass. As a result, many of the early Phoenician Glass designs were similar to designs by Michael Harris at Mdina. Phoenician Glass was named after the ancient Phoenician civilisaion, which colonised Malta during the first millenium BC. The company is still in production to this day."

My vase appears to be signed "BNS 04" perhaps a relative of Leonard Sullivan?

Aha! I think the first word is "Phoenician" and this is by Phoenician Art Glass of Malta. Will research Phoenician Art Glass and add info, if I can find something...

So much great glass being found Kevin!
      How much space left?
    7. kwqd kwqd, 5 years ago
Well, Karen, I'm thinking about starting to downsize some of my larger American factory glass pieces to make room for continued collecting. A lot of that stuff is interesting but not very sexy. So, not much room left!
